Auditing The HR Function

A day without change can't be a day in Human Resources! Keeping up with all that is required, both internally and externally, seems insurmountable.

This interactive workshop is designed to assist HR professionals in identifying what they are doing well and where additional effort might be helpful. A wealth of measurement tools will be included in the handout packet, along with sample employee and management HR satisfaction surveys.

Participants will learn:

  • What are the standard measures for HR function effectiveness;
  • How to increase HR visibility within the organization;
  • How to identify the various services that different "clients" (Senior Management, Managers/Supervisors, Employees, Applicants, etc.) need from HR;
  • Where to turn for technical support about new areas/topics; and
  • How to conduct an organizational HR needs analysis.

While focusing on how HR can measure and audit its own work, this session will also cover departmental mission statements, goal and objective material, and gaining senior management support for special projects or new programs.
